“Pharmakeìon” Drugstore

Concept developed by Anastasia Verteouri and Pinelopi Vasilaki as an entry for the LikeArt Pharmacy Design Ideas Competition.

The pharmacy is placed on the ground floor of a typical urban building, with a flexible plan, opening two sides of the corner to the street. The aim is to operate on as much natural light as possible in all areas, which is achieved with a variety of openings with different translucency qualities that allow the outside space to communicate with the interior, creating a pleasant environment. The materials used are wood, metal, glass and uncoated concrete.
